Here is a high-speed version of our walk into town set to the music of Pseudo Six. Sadly, we took our sweet time walking so our camera ran out of space.
The high school kids march every day but on this day, they were marching to the central park for a concert in honor of Dia de los Ninos (Day of the Children). It's a nifty national holiday that America should really consider picking up.
We are sorry this clip doesn't take you all the way into Atenas. We hope to post more on that soon.
That was cool!
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how jealous I am. Its my dream to live in central America again. The people are nicer, the food is better and the culture is greater. Public transportation is dangerous, but fun. Enjoy your time because its going to fly.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the hike to town - especially if that's not even the whole way there! What a great way to get some exercise :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a journey to get food! Plus, I kind of like that the H.S. band marches every day! Fun for everyone to enjoy! Keep us posted!
